This van is built by El Kapitan and is still in excellent condition with only 83,500 miles on it. I bought it to live in it while going to school but have since moved back home and its no longer ideal driving a big van around as a daily driver. I love this van to death
This classic is a once in a lifetime find. A 1971 dodge sportsman with 44k miles that is wheelchair accessible. This beauty has a 225 slant 6 and had been garaged but sitting for years when we got hold of it. The person we got it from was in over his head with this one and had done plugs and wires in hopes of making it run. First thing we did when we got it home was to drain and change the fluids. Pulled the plugs and did a compression check to make sure we were working with something viable. Compression checked out great. We picked this up looking at this as a classic and just trying to do the minimum to make sure it would go. We have done just what was needed to see this thing roll down the road. After the compression checked out good. Verified a strong spark then took a look at the fuel. The fuel was just nasty. The gas tank had gone dry turning to black tar. So we put in a new fuel tank, fuel pump. We soaked the carb and put a rebuild kit in. Then it started, was a little rattly up top so we set the valves once running and checked the timing and walla this baby is firing up on the first cranks on the coldest morning. This thing drives so dreamy we almost don't want to part with it. It has a little surface rust, which will rub right off,not messing with the paint job though. The passenger side looks like it's taken a couple light hits. The interior looks straight out of the 70's, could really use a new carpet kit. Looks to be a smoke free vehicle. Glass is good, all lights are working. The lift was upgraded after 1995 to a ricon lift that appears to be in almost new condition. There is a dingle hanging from the mirror with a local auto shop name on it. I went in and talked to the owner. Showed him a picture hoping he would remember the van looking for some history. They hadn't had that dingle since his dad was in charge back in the early 90's. The title has changed hands twice now since the original owner but has only had about 20 miles put on it locally. Leave a message if i don't pick up. Thanks for looking .
I love this van to death! I bought it to live in it while going to school but have since moved back home and its no longer ideal driving a big van around as a daily driver. This van is built by el kapitan and is still in excellent condition with only 83,000 miles on it! It has a sink, fridge, portable toilet that can slide out from underneath the sink, farily large counter space with two normal wall outlets right above it, a bed that electronically folds up into a bench seat for 3 more seats (seats 6 total with all seats in), a tv with vhs player, multiple light settings, and plenty of storage space both underneath the bed and in the storage compartments above. The tires still have good tread on them and the van has received all of its regular maintenance and has been very carefully cared for its whole life. I also have a deep cycle battery that i have not yet installed that i will give with the van.

1971 dodge sportsman with wheelchair lift and motorized swivel drivers seat. This beauty has a 225 slant 6 and had been garaged, but sitting for years when we got hold of it. . New fuel pump, tank and filter with some hoses and a rebuild on the carburetor set the valves and gave it a small tune up and this baby is firing up on the first cranks on the coldest morning we've been having,. This thing drives so dreamy we almost don't want to part with it. It has a little surface surface rust. The passenger side looks like it's taken a couple light hits in the bumper and the door came open on something. The lift was upgraded after 1995 to a ricon lift that appears to be in new condition. This thing has seen more sun in my front yard then it has in the past 45 years. Come strike a deal and get it back in a garage where it belongs. Please . 801-733-5083.

New fuel pump and a rebuild on the carburetor set the valves and gave it a small tune up and this baby is firing up on the first cranks on the coldest morning we've been having, around 10 deg F. The passenger side looks like it's taken a couple light hits in the bumper and the door came open on something.
